Whip-It for Windows! 1.01

This is a 32-bit Windows version of the "Whip-It" puzzle (further on down the page you will see the original DOS version written in QuickBASIC). Whip-It was one of the myriad puzzles that was popularized in the early 1980s; it was essentially a three-dimensional cylinder with different colored tiles on it, and the idea was to rotate its "tiers" and slide the tiles around so that eventually all the colors would line up in each column.

This emulation is actually two-dimensional, however. When you play the game, you have to imagine that the grid that you see on the screen is actually wrapped around a cylinder.

The DOS version below is somewhat rudimentary and was written rather quickly. I decided it was about time to create an improved version for Windows. You can define how large or small you want the puzzle to be, the program will tell you how long it took you to solve the puzzle, and even some sound effects are included.
