Quick-Race 2.00

Are you in the mood for the world's most basic racing game of all time? Well, you've come to the right place! This is Quick-Race, a simple 2-D scrolling racing game. Yes, even the graphics are very simple. Nevertheless, the central theme here is "quick and dirty." Your car starts out in the center of the screen, and the road moves past you, all the while twisting and turning. The longer until you crash, the higher your score.

I'd like to think that with Quick-Race I'm paying a tribute to the primitive racing games of the past, not unlike what you'd find on old 8-bit machines like the Commodore PET and Apple ][. And even though the game is very straightforward, there are many aspects of it that you can customize, and you just might find it to be quite fun and mildly addicting.

This version of Quick-Race is a completely revamped and improved 32-bit Windows application based on the original DOS version, which can be found below.
