    You can rename files using flexible file renaming options. You can add numeric counter, additional text, file date to the new file name. You can remove unwanted characters, numbers and special symbols from the file name.

    Rename All File Types
    ExtraRenamer gives you option to rename photos from your digital camera, videos and MP3 music files. You can rename almost all file types including jpg, gif, bmp, ico, cur, tif, psd, tga, mp3, wav, mid, aud, au, psm, mpg, dat, mov, mp4, wmv, avi, ra, swf, flv, mkv, 3gp etc.

    Rename Folders
    You can also rename multiple folders using flexible rename options.

    Rename ID3 tags
    You can change ID3 tags such as Title, Artist, Album, Year, Genre for your MP3 music files.

    Save Rename Profile Settings
    Once you decide on the rename file pattern, you can save and use it later on. No need to enter all the settings every time you want to rename same type of files.

    Flexible file rename options
    Before you rename the files, you can decide on whether to add a fixed length counter to file name, remove existing alphabets, numbers and spaces from file name. You can add additional text to file name or even replace existing text from all file names. You can also add file date (created, modified and last accessed) and current date to the filename in specified format such as DDMMYYYY.

    Export renamed files list to M3U format
    After renaming MP3 files, you can easily export the list as a M3U play list file which can be opened with a music player such as Winamp or Windows Media Player.

    Export renamed files to a CSV file.
    Additionally you can export the renamed file list to a CSV (comma separated values) file. This comes handy when you wish to use the file list inside any other program such as Microsoft Excel.
